Default New 1994 Mustang GT, what know???

Ok guys so I know there is probably a million threads on this. I just bout a 94 GT with the 5.0. Its got under drive pulleys, off road h-pipe with flowmaster 40s. Just did all NGK plugs, taylor wires, msd distributor and coil. It also has smog pump delete. It has hedman headers(seem to be just uncoated shortys) rusted over though. Im thinking of getting some stuff. Would new headers be worth it or will these headman shortys be fine? I want a really deep mean tone. I got about 700 to spend, so let me know what your ideas are. Its also lowered with 18's.

I don't know a heck of a lot about these car too. I've had mine for about 4 monthes after an 06 gt and an 01 gt. Personally, I wouldn't waste my money on new headers to get something like an exhaust note. If I were you, my previous cars were really woken up by and heand held tuner. Maybe a chip would wake it up. Mine has Flowmasters, not my first choice because of the 2000 rpm drone. In my opinion, you are definitely doing the right thing going on here because most parts have been tried by people on here and try to get a thumbs up or down. Good luck.

yeah, i dont think you are going to really get much of a deeper/meaner tone unless you switch to a longtube header with shorty h-pipe. if i were you, i would get some gears, and if you can install it yourself, grab a new intake. those will be your best bang for your buck mods.
