meh.. the stangs i've heard around here with packs were pretty loud, but not that deep. i've only personally heard 1 stang with stingers and it was loud under throttle and pretty deep, not all that loud at idle.

This is a pretty accurate comparison of the two exhaust systems. I've only heard Packs that had a catted x, though the brand name of the x escapes me. Anyway, his car sounded basically the same as mine in terms of volume and the timbre of the noise, but it definitely lacked the bass of my Stingers. From what I have seen, packs can be pretty loud, but... who cares? Volume without bass makes for a pretty boring exhaust system if you ask me. Really, that's all they are - loud. But they DO sound good, so if you don't feel like spending an extra $100 to get Borla, the Packs are a good system.

Magnapacks with windows up. http://media.putfile.com/magna-pack

Magnapacks. http://media.putfile.com/Magnapacks

Those Magnapacks were on my old 02 GT.

My Magnapacks were extremely deep, they sound as deep as possible without sounding muddy or muffled like some other straight-through systems.

the only way to describe stingers at idle is really low toned,,,

anytime the car is idleing, you can feel it as it vibrates by you, not enormously, but still a bit

as for wot, keeping them quiet with an o/r H,, forget about it

Packs on a "5 oh"

In car with windows rolled up, sound is a little ****ty but get over it

Packs ARE deep.
And I have an Offroad X!

Full exhaust setup:

331 Stroker, AFR 185's, 224/232 555/565 112º Cam, BBK 1 3/4" LT's, BBK 2.5" Offroad X, Magnapack mufflers.

Edit: Just a side note, wouldnt trade them for anything.
Previously had Flowmaster 40's on the car last year.
There's no comparison.
Packs were not only deeper, but sounded insane at WOT.
And didnt have that tin sound that accompanies Flowmasters.
