Default Turbo or supercharger questions

I currently have a 347 that was built from the bottom up by a local machine shop. Its been dyno tuned by Alternative auto and made 350hp/360 ft lbs at the wheels. I'm looking for some more power at this point to start racing it more and still continue to use it on the street for the occasional cruise. I'm not sure if my wants meet possibilitys but I'd like to keep it on 93 octane.

Current Mods are as follows:

Engine:
347 Eagle kit
Trick flow street heads
Victor 5.0 intake
TFS stage 3 cam

Air/Fuel:
255lph fuel pump
42lb injectors
Aeromotive rails
80mm Pro M mass air
1 3/4" BBK Headers
3" dumps

I'm basically looking for some opinions on what make sense on my current combo for a power adder. I need to have my heads o-ring since they are not. I think most of my fuel system will support a power adder but I'm not completely sure. Thanks guys, look forward to figuring this out.

Personally with a stroker, I would go with nitrous. Do what you want but, for what you will spend on a turbo or supercharger, you would go just as fast with nitrous. Just make sure you got the bottle on.lol

small shot of nitrous... All you need. Any kind of forced induction will probably blow your block to pieces.

depending on your compression ratio a s/c or turbo may not be to friendly, if it is already at 10.5 to 1 you won't get away with much boost, nitrous is the best option, I ran 10.70's with a small shot on my 347, and 11.3 iirc on the motor

Not really what I was expecting on this topic. Nitrous must have changed since the last time I ran it years ago. I really am only looking to run 6psi of boost which I thought would give me the 70hp-100hp jump I was shooting for. Maybe I'm better off investing in some better heads or porting these then.

Must have changed, I see people run it all the time and never really have problems. I know one guy that grenaded his motor with it on the streeet in front of his house test driving his car but, he forgot to put his chips in to retard the timimg. He bought a set of AFR 205s and he put another set of 250 dollar keith blacks in his 408 and now I know runs in the 5.50s. He said he got it down into the 40s with it.

I know what you mean though about wanting boost. My boss told me yesterday to leave him alone and he will put my block assembly together. At the end of the day when it was all said and done he was like, "don't put a hairdryer on it this time, if you want some more power put you a hundred shot on it". Guess what, he will probably be pissed.

if you just want a small hit like that then nitrous would be an easy/cheap way to get it with a small jet on it. The other advantage is there is no maint needed compaired to the other systems and it isn't running when you don't need it.

I'm not so much as looking for a hit of power, I'm looking for a solid 70 to 100hp more out of my car constantly.

I dont think you'd be all that impressed with 6psi of boost on top of what you already have...

I agree with the fellas, juice it
