Default Foxbody newbie, help with turbo or nitous

I have always been a 4.6 mustang guy, but i have a friend that has a foxbody that they swapped in a 351 that they have at 396 ci IIRC. They also got rid of all the fuel injection stuff and it is running on a carb. They would like to get some better times out of the car as it is basically a race car only. Ran a best of 12.81 so far. We just don't know which way to go with it right now as they nor I have much experience with nitrous or a turbo on a carb car. Any help is greatly apreciated.

There's just a little more to building a race car than putting an engine it.
Start at the rear bumper and work your way forward.
Look at fuel system, gearing, suspension, tires/wheels everything has to work togather as a full system when it's made up of many sub-systems.......

well okay, they have a car that they take to the track about twice a year. They had a 89 notch without an engine and had this engine that was used one season as a dirttrack motor. It is completely mechanical as far as the fuel system goes and they want to put a single shot of nitrous on it.

Basically looking for a little help with how to setup a nitrous system on a carbureted car.

There are a few assumptions made on my first post. Car has had a fair amount of suspension work(could go farther here), a manual valved auto, not sure on the stall in the car, and a lot of wieght reduction. My main question was about the engine and please disregard turbo as I believe that is more work than needed on this car.

Electric fuel pump, wet nitrous kit with carb plate so all you'll need is to pull some timing at the distributor and run colder plugs
