I am looking for a cat back exhaust for my 94 mustang gt. I just put on a o/r hpipe. Im not looking to spend crazy money. Would it be cheaper to go to an exhaust shop and have them do one or just buy a cat back kit online? Whats the average price i should expect from a shop? thanks

Just from the research that I have done today, I would say that it would be best to go to the muffler shop. But I guess it all depends on what you have at home to do the job. Are you just going to clamp it all together or do you want it welded? Can you do your own welding or have your own welding machine? Do you have a vehicle lift? What is your mechanical aptitude for working on things like this?
It all plays a part when making this decision. Personally, I don't like working on the exhaust because it is so big and bulky. Plus I don't have the right setup, like a lift.
