ok question about my exhaust
 

i just had a GT catback takeoff installed last saturday.
it sounds sick
i love how it sounds at 1800 rpms. although I want it louder
should I have the cats removed or go with headers?

put some flowmaster mufflers or flowmaster knock-offs put on. those seem to be a nice combo with a v6 with dualies. cheap too :D

I thought you were getting a GT anyways?

You don't want to go with a much louder exhaust on the V6. It will start to sound goofy and higher pitched.

HnB's clips sounded good. i think he had the flows on there.

oh yeah, what happened to you getting the GT? are you going to keep the 6 and also get a GT?

oh, if you have flowmasters, then you're done. that's as loud as it'll probably get while still having some deepness to it. i wouldn't get an off-road X or anything, the one i heard on these forums makes you sound like chewbacca.

yeah i almost always nail it leaving work but i know that sneaky basterd waits for me down a block so lastnight I didn't get on it real bad.

fuggar followed me almost all the way home too

i get out of work the same time the bar downthe street shuts down for the night. alot of us from work have been stopped just because they think we was in the bar..

You dont want to take the cats off a 6er cause they do not sound good when they get to loud.They really start to pronounce the 6 cylinder when the cats come off and sound very..... hmmm......Raspy, maybe is the word for it??
