Glasspacks
Hi guys, I'm looking for some good glasspacks and don't know what to make my mind up on. I have heard about cherry bombs but I don't think I want to jump on that bandwagon. I have also heard about smithy's but they aren't very loud. Any other ideas? ( o and I wanted blue streak but haven't found any). I am looking for loud and deep resonant tone. Not raspy and poppy.

I have an H pipe with 18 inch cherry bombs and I love them! My car has the old school sound that I love, not raspy at all. The only time that they have the popping sound is when I rev it up before the engine is warmed up. If you mount them directly under the cabin area, it also eliminates the dreaded drone that so many complain about. They are made in 24 in also, but they will be slightly quieter.

You could get flowmaster outlaws. They are a glasspack style muffler without the baffles. It's deep and loud, drone isn't to bad. I just got them in an axle back kit for my 2006 Mustang GT. I think you can get just the mufflers though online. You may look into something like that

I honestly don't know how much the 18's were. I had the exhaust system custom made at a muffler shop, including the H pipe, and it was just under $300.00 for the whole setup.
