Just bought a 2006 GT Convertible, 19000 miles on it.

I was looking at the Pypes axle back at AM and I keep reading the reviews about "drone" but it goes away after a few weeks when the exhaust is broke in.

I thought a drone was an unmanned plane that the military uses. What is it in the exhaust world?

How does an exhaust "break in" so it eliminates said drone??

Someone correct me if I am not correct-Drone is when the frequency of your mufflers match and combine to make this sound that just drowns ur ears. The sound is deep and just in ur head it seems like. Some brands and setups r worse than others. An exhaust can break in to a point. There rnt significant sounds changes after break in IMO.

Side note. I would suggest taking a look at MAC axle backs
