Went From Stock To LT's BBK X PIPE and SLP Loudmouth 2 and Not Happy
1995 Mustang GT V8
Just installed Long tubes, bbk x pipe, and slp loudmouth 2's and replaced all stock parts. Driving the car is sounds like i hardly did anything, and the idle is even quieter than it was before. This should be way louder then stock.
After all this work and money, my setup sounds very similar to the stock set up. My buddy had the same thing but with stock or flowmaster mufflers, and his sounds way louder. Not sure what the problem is.
Any thoughts?

That is very odd. But don't they get louder the higher up in the RPM range you go ?
I wish I could explain it but it just doesn't make sense.
All you changed was the exhaust correct ? No other changes made to the motor ?

No other changes. I added long tubes, a bbk x pipe and loudmouth 2s with no cats. There is absolutely no restrictions and the What blows my mind is it's no louder than stock, even while reving in high rpms. It's a different sound but not louder, but I expected it to be screaming like my buddies who has stock mufflers.
