Hi-flow cats and Texas inspections question? I got a new x-pipe/exhaust!
Long story short, P0430 code encouraged me to finally go aftermarket / hi-flow after owning the car for 10 years. I decided to go with Bassani's catted x-pipe, which they call a "modular" design because it comes with both hi-flow cats and cat-delete inserts. I had the shop put in the cats. Behind the Bassani, I now have Borla Stingers S type cat-back exhaust. After getting my car home from the install yesterday, I was able to clear the P0430 and accompanying check-engine light. I suspect that I may have a hard time getting the new setup to pass Texas inspection when the time comes around (March). I've also been told, most likely, the check engine light will occasionally come back on.
I'm wondering if the are options for when that inspection is due?
1. Do people just put the stock exhaust back on temporarily?
2. Is there a aftermarket equivalent that isn't hi-flow?
2. Can a insert be created with the stock or equivalent non-hi-flow cats? Thinking some fabrication would be needed to fit the aftermarket Bassani pipes.
Here is my current obd2 readout...

I'll post exhaust clips in the stickied thread when I get that video done asap.
