Hesitation or missing at WOT

Hesitation or missing at WOT
Last weekend I installed an Edelbrock E-Force on my 2005 Mustang GT. The install was pretty easy, and it starts easy. It MOSTLY runs great. The only problem I'm having is some hesitation or missing at WOT. And of course it isn't throwing codes. I've called Edelbrock a couple of times, and apparently their customer service isn't quite what it used to be... So I'm looking for some idea from you guys.
The X4 tuner allows me to monitor the A/F ratio, and it isn't lean. The long term and short term trim stays right arount 1.0 (14.7:1) for most driving. When I go WOT, it drops to .8 (11.8:1). So the A/F ratio seems to be ok. That rules out a vacuum leak or injector issue.
So that leaves a couple of things... plugs or coils. I used the new plugs that came with the kit (don't remember the brand). My coils are the originals from 2005.
Ideas? I know it could be a coil, but it runs fine and idles fine, and no codes. Could a coil be weak?
I'm using 91 Octane (the best toilet-swill that California offers), so gas isn't likely the problem.
Since the A/F seems ok, I don't think it could be the fuel pump, filter, or regulator. Any of those would cause it to be lean.
Any help is appreciated.

Spend wisely. Get a real tune on a dyno.. The canned tune was never meant to be the end-all tune, it was meant to get you started and driving...to a dyno shop. When Edlebrock started up they spent a lot of time doing e-mail data-log tuning but from the sounds of it, they don't have that anymore so, dyno tune it.

I plan on getting it tuned. I have to deal with smog checks here in CA, so that is why I went with the e-force (it's emissions legal), but I need to keep the Edelbrock tune. Still, I'll get it tuned and just swap tunes when I need to smog it.
The good news is that I solved the problem. Plugs were gapped just a little on the high side. I closed them up a little and now it runs perfect.
