Default $6,000, any suggestions

Hey guys,

I have a 2005 v6 with the only performance upgrade being a K&N oem replacement filter. I'm looking at different power-adding options and wanted some advice. Now I have a max. 6k (perferably much less) to spend to add power to my stang (including pipes and everything). So should I go supercharger, turbo, bore out the cylinders, or just anty up for a new engine and sell the old one ( or a combination of the above). Keep in mind I will eventually replace the engine (once this one burns out).

Any advice would be greatly appretiated as this is my first tuning job ever.

Thnx.

~orion6g

PS. On a different note I'm going to get an oem replacement air filter for my parents f-250 as a christmas present and wanted to know AirRaid or K&N?

**** some one just did a write up in a magazine how they made the v6 as fast as the gt and a few other things and it still cost less then a GT did... i think it might have been Modified Mustang. they just came out...

also you cant go wrong with a super-charger

and ive never had bad luck with K&N filters. i have a WMS velocity tube, my buddys have BBK and Mac's but we all run the K&N filter.. my sister and her b/f run the drop ins on their truck too...

twin turbo could be done for less than 6k.
that v-6 will scream with a TT.
it would surprise alot of people too.
