Headers: Long Vs. Short

I was just wondering if there is an advantage to having one or the other. I am about to purchase a set from either BBk, MAC, or Bassani and wanted to know what the difference is. Thanx

on a V6 long tubes would more likely than not make you lose so much torque theyre not worth buying. hell, shorties might be bad too. i would work on theinduction side of your car before worrying about exhaust (oh by induction i dont mean like a cai, i mean pretty serious stuff like port and polishor boost)

Makes sense I was looking at this Hi-Po 3.8 PowerPak. This seems like it would be a good investment.

Agree, well said. V6ers will lose torque with dual exhaust , so adding headers would make the loss even worse..

What the f*** are you poeople talking about? Loosing torque with the ADDITION of headers?

Sounds VERY fishy untill someone can come up with a dyno.

Headers & staying with a single exhaust setup will be fine..

Yeah, I don't see how headers would hurt even a V-6. The exhaust must be pretty restrictive on the v6...right?

Hey, why not save your money, trade your car in on a V-8

I'll grab a V8 in the future, can't afford the insurance on it right now, but still want to have some fun with what I have and try to learn some things about modifications in the process so when I do get that V8 I know just what to do to get the results I want.
