If im not mistaken, every car has a specific code for the computer and the tunes are designated for that computer only. You can order additional tunes specific to your car from Brenspeed and download them off of your computer. The tuner does include the USB cable.

Yes you will have to purchase the tunes unless your cars computer is the same code as mine, which I dont know if that s even possible. About it being locked or unlocked, I honestly dont know. I returned my stang back to stock, so im nto sure if that would unlock it or not. Either way, im sure you can get it unlocked even if it was.

$500 is a little pricey for the tuner possibly not being unlocked and we will prob have to pruchase new tunes for it, your better off buying a new tuner for the price you'll pay to get it unlocked and for the new tunes.
