Buying Roush wheels 18x10 for my 06GT. offset is 41mm

First question is are 18x10's ok for the FRONT as well as back?
This is the only size of 18's they come in...Some people have been worried that 18x10 is too big for the front...

Heres the next question...
Mine now have 235/50zr 18 Bf Goodrich wheels.
Roush uses T275 40 18.

Someone said that BG goodrich says my size are only recommended for 6.5-8.5
wide rim...

Does this mean I'll need to get new tires?
If so can someone lead me to the good tires (have no idea what ones are great, good, or bad.

I know that some people are running 18 x 10 on the front. It will work if the offset is correct. (No, I don't know what the offset number is.) Call Roush and ask them.

For tire sizing you can look this up yourself. All the big tire companies have web sites. Look them up on google. Once you find one, you can get the specs of the tire online. The mfg's online spec sheet will tell you the recommended rim width for the tire. For example, if the company says 6.5-8.5, then of course a 10" rim is too wide.

Companies like Discount Tire, Tire Rack, etc, have online reviews where you can read about tires. People on the forum can give you suggestions for good tires, but you need to provide more information. What kind of tires do you want: High-mileage tires? Performance tires? Drag racing tires? Winter (snow) tires?

I'm going to assume you want good performance-oriented tires, but not drag radials. If that's the case, consider these:

BF Goodrich KDW-2
Goodgear Eagle (especially the GS-D3 type)
Nitto 555
Michelin Pilot

...you should be able to find the specs for these online, including the approved rim widths.

I looked on BF goodrich's website.. there was no KDW-2
only BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW and BF Goodrich g-Force™ T/A® KDWS

the KDWS only had them in 17's

Suggestions?

Also the offset of the Roush's are 41mm.
No clue if I need to do anything or I am good.
Help?

They changed the name of the KDW-2 to just KDW.

You probably don't want the KDW-S. If I remember right, that's a snow tire.

I am not sure about the offset. Call Roush, on the phone, and ask them. They make the wheels, they will know best.

Question... what does the offset mean? What does this have to do with what I am to do?
Is it the tire fit that this concerns or the wheel being on the car itself as a do or dont?
is 41mm ok for back n front too?

Offset is the distance between the imaginary centerline of the wheel, and the wheel mounting surface.

Offset has nothing to do with tire fitment on the wheel. Offset has to do with how the wheel fits on the car.

I'll say it again: If you want to be sure the wheels you want will fit your car, call the company that makes them and ask!

hrm well on the roush page they say they are specificly for the 05-06 Mustang GT...
So i'd assume they will fit correct?
