Benefits of LCA's?
Hello everyone. I'm fairly new here, and new to the whole Mustang thing. I see a lot of people reccomending LCA's, but never a reason why. Can someone explain to me what the benefit of replacing the LCA's is? I tried searching, but didn't find anything that helped.
thanks.

They eliminate wheel hop under hard accel. Similar to "traction bars" in the old days.

Another thing you will see us talking about is adjustable LCAs. Adjustable LCAs have a screw mechanism in them so you can alter their length. These are used to restore proper driveline geometry (pinion angle) if you either lower your car or if you switch to a once-piece driveshaft.
In my opinion LCAs are a "mandatory" mod for the Mustang GT. The OEM ones are very flimsy and contribute to wasted HP due to wheelhop. Aftermarket LCAs are stiffer and will help your car hook up rather than spin the tires.
This thread discusses LCAs and many other suspension parts in detail. Check it out:
