18x11.25 bullitt rim?

I was wondering if there is such a wheel size available. There is a website showing a Mustang owned by Ryan stating he has 18x9's up front and 18x11.25 in the back. To find the site, go under google and type in " mustang 18x11.25 " in the keyword search. Looks mean with those steamrollers bringing up the rear!

Something tells me that is the width of the Tire Not the rim. And if he is running rim that wide it is stupid because the tire isn't even that wide. The tire specs out at 11.22" wide which means his wheel is wider than the tire.

WOW!!! You sure are crazy about the size of someone else's tires... Is this tire envy? Read through some more of the threads, there are tons who run that size tire, and even bigger.

To tell you the truth I am seriouslu considering changing out to a 295/35/18 in the rear and keeping my 255/40/18's up front. Anyone out there running this combo?

What is the benefit for having 295's in the rear and 255's up front? What is the benefit of having thinner tires in the front?

The fatter your front tires, the more your car is going to oversteer.

Strictly looks and more beef in the back and the fact the I can't fit 295's in the front. Many cars have staggered sizes. New Shelby GT500 runs 285/40/18 in the rear and 245/45/18 in the front.

The larger the contact patch in the rear the better one can hook up hard off the line when racing or drag racing. I have 265/30/20 in front and 285/30/20 in the rear for the staggered look and the rear tires look nice esp when passing someone...they get a nice look at the rear! J

Exactly. Can't go wrong with a beefy set of rear tires.
