Default 275/40/17 and 17x9

Anybody run this setup on a daily driver? 275/40/17's are dirt cheap and the 17x9 enkei rfp1's are as light as you can find for the price. I'm curious if there would be any issues in dropping from a 55 to a 40 series tire on 17's?? I'd like to run the 275's all the way around and plan on getting some vogtlands and tokicos in the near future.

your speedo will be off by around 4 MPH @ 60 (going 60 when reading 64 ) and will get worse at higher speeds. If you have an tuner you can change the speedo. Also you will be filling alot less of the wheel well. I think there are better options out there...an 18" wheel with 275/285 works much better

Thanks. I do have a tuner. My thought was that this would be a lighter option and much less costly for tires. What size tires do you have on those 18's...any rub?
