Seems like a decent enough piece, however, I would say there is a lot more you could do for the suspension first. Remember, the point of the K Member is to stiffen the body - which is stiff enough to begin with.

I'd look into springs, dampers, strut mounts, control arms, and a panhard rod/brace before worrying about chassis stiffening.

The Mustang's weak point includes wheel control, so address that first.

But when the time comes, and you have 900rwhp, this seems like a great piece! Though, as with all chassis bracing, tis' usually a good idea to have it welded in.

umm if you email someone who sells that piece they will tell you this is not as strong as the stock piece. The point of it is to save weight not to make the chasis stronger.

Griggs has a nice write-up on why they decided that the stock K-member wasn't good enough for their suspension system.

with the griggs setup you could spend 9000 to 13000 just on a complete suspension. But as an added bonus it does come with a lifetime warrenty.

I've thought about getting this but not because it could be stronger. My 2 reasons are weight savings and make header installation easier.

it is a good piece. it is stronger and stiffer. plus the motor mounts are definitely better. but..
like other have said there are many more things I would do first... like the whole rear suspension first. once you are done that then I might think about the k-member. also I would do the a-arms at the same time. look at the suspension packs on the Lethal performance site.
