UCA/LCA installed very noisy need help
I had a set of J&M non adj LCAS & UCA with poly bushings installed. Now I get a lot of clunking noise under the rear of the car. The installer said the UCA does that. I hear it when I switch gears, move the shifter, hit good bumps, or when Im on it. If it is the uca I will go back to stock. Any ideas??

Check the torque on the bolts. You need 129 ft lbs on both the UCA and LCA and they are a b*tch to torque down on the UCA. Your installer probably only put as much as he could. Also, be sure he used new nuts and bolts as the stock nuts are recommended as one-time use.

The car must be on a drive on lift or placed on the ground before torqued to specs... just about everone I know has problems because there are so many bad shops out there that dont know what there doing !!!
