There is an issue with your link, you may have missed some of the characters when you pasted it in.

RodeoFlyer-

I see this is a recall on Saleen but could this "failure" apply to all watts link setups? I would guess they are all setup close to the same. I ask you because of your road track knowledge.

If you look at the other 3 watts setups available you will see that they all have a brace for lateral loads between the chassis mounts. The Fayes and Lakewood units have it inherrently in their design. The Griggs unit includes a brace, which word is the Saleens will include now and an upgrade kit is available.

Im far from being an engineer and much of my knowledge is from seat time andsurrounding myself with the right people. Many people tend to buy parts simply because of the name. I'm not a fan of any of the units other than Griggs', because it is the only one that is done RIGHT. The Saleen vendors and chest beaters can say whatever they want, but it's really more of a novelty item than a performance item. The only people to truly benefit from a watts are racers, and any racer will look at the Saleen unit and say "no thanks". The reality is that it's VERY far down the list of parts needed to improve the car, but people go out and buy them because they think it only takes money to go faster. In drag racing that may be true, but in the corner carving world it's not.

That is enough explaination for me. This is an upgrade that I am keeping an eye on and will be looking to add on my car down the road. Like you said this is a mod that is down the list from other upgrades that would come first, including the nut behind the wheel!
