Steeda Suspension package
so ive been doing some research on suspenions for the s197. I was conteplating the Steeda stage 2 or maybe stage 3. How good are the steeda non adjustable shocks? should i put together my own package and add the D-specs? Roush doesnt seem to be worth the 1500$,but i was thinkin maybe the saleen kit and get a rear sway bar and get some LCAS from steeda or BMR on top of that. Whatcha guys think?

RE: Steeda Suspension package
Dont quote me on this but
Im pretty sure that the saleen is not that great of a performace kit. Im almost positive that if your looking fora great setup, the saleen springs are definatley not the way to go, and if you stray from the saleen springs you might as well go with the D-Secs.
I am positive though that the Steeda Compotition springs are a great spring and are truley performance oriented with a mild, practical drop (info fromF1Fan)
I dont have any imput on the shocks struts or sway though. Have not heard anything about them.
I looked at the Saleen Kit and it is extreemley tempting for only 800 bucks
i mean it comes with stuff that, putting together yourself, would be over 1000 dollars.
D-Specs and Steeda Comps are over 800 aloneand that doesnt include a panhard bar and brace, camber bolts, and an alignment.
It all depends on what your shooting for whether it be Road Course, AutoX, Drag, or just a cosmetic Drop
If you really want to learn about suspension in detail here are a few guru posts:

RE: Steeda Suspension package
nice ill def take a look at that. As far as why i want the suspension its a lil of all 3. Kill some wheel gap, handle well on the streets and help the track time too. And your right the saleen kit is def tempting @ 800$. I mite do Steeda stage 2 and see if i can replace the steeda non adjustables with the tokico D-specs. Are the D-specs worth 150$ more than a non adjustable strut?
