They are fine on nice warm sunny days. Be prepared to replace them at about 2k miles.

I love mine for the track, but too expensive to use on the street, (180 a piece)I have mine mounted on a spare set of stock 17's.

I am talking the Drag Radials (R2 compound), if you mean real ET Streets (M5 compound) those things shouldn't be street legal !!!

IMHO

+1 - If you get the regular ET streets - they won't last very long on the street. The DR version will last longer, but no that long either...

I use the 555r's onthe street and they are the best tire for an 18" rim for the street IMO.

However, I would never use them at the track or expect anything out of them at the track. IMO - it is best to get a set of 'track tires' for the track if you want the best results.

1 tire can easily fit in your turnk and the other in the car...

i have them on my 5.0....its my track car and i have them on the pony rims...i use the car only to go to the track and once or twice around, overall great tire, havent had much time with them (couple of months) so havent seen any problems

I'd say if you got traction problems...theres no better way to go

I just got a set of 265/40/18s delivered today!!! ET Street Radials... they are to replace my BFGs of the same size. My car is not a DD and has been driven only once in the rain with the BFGs about 80 miles to the track, I had no issue. Generally it is recommended not to drive them in the rain.

How long did your BFG's last?
