Default D-Spec strut annoyance....

Alright I'm not sure if its an installation problem....camber out of serious adjustment or what the deal is. But the top nuts(center) on my Struts keep working their way loose. Is there something I'm missing that's making them work their way loose? They're fine till the first two times I put the car under full boost at WOT. Even if its just a quick 4-5second jaunt. And then I can hear the struts working their way loose again. [>:]

Hi 07BOSSGT_S197,

You need to yank out the struts and put the springs in a compressor and then properly torque the strut retaining nuts. Unless you are gunning them on you are not achiving proper torque and they just come loose. I highly recommend that you use a torque wrench and not gun the strut nuts on.

HTH!
