Default Losing Weight

Is there any way to lose weight easy in these cars or is it expensive to cut lets say about 300 pounds off?

Weight Loss = $

There is no cheap way to do it, if there was almost everyone here would have done it already. There is no silver bullet - it would take the replacement of many parts with lighter weight aftermarket ones (wheels, drive shaft, seats, interior, K-member, etc, etc, etc). Even the FR500C, a completely stripped race car (~$130,000) is only roughly 400 lbs lighter than a GT, granted it has a roll cage.

Off the top of my head, here's a few weight savers:

Aftermarket Driveshaft
Spare tire
Rear seat
Passenger seat

Here is a good link to some useful Past post.https://mustangforums.com/m_5005139/tm.htm

If you use the search and know exactly what to look for sometimes you can find it but I seem to have a problem. Never let a dislexict (sp) take over the keb-yoard )(meaning me)

good luck with your weight loss plan

From what I've heard rear seat backs and bottom along with all the seat belts/hardware/brackets is about 40 lbs.
