Frpp springs should be no unusual problems. Just the normal lowering problems.

Youll need to get new struts/shocks. Keep in mind though that even hi performance struts/shocks will NOT accomidate a 2" drop. I talked to the tech people at Tokico and KYB and they said the most their struts will handle is a 1.5" drop and that was with the illuminas.

By normal problems I meant:

I hope you've read the lowering threads. The cost of changinging the geometry is different for every one or car. How far do you wanna go. I will say that dropping any you need have a plan and try to take care of it in one to two shots.
To give you an idea and I am no guru but..... springs, struts, shocks, panhard bar,Lca,Lca relocation brackets, adjustable upper control arms, and something to change camber angle for your front end as well as four wheel alignment after each stage.

not trying to discourage you just lettin you know whats coming. the springs are the cheap part........ get geometry back can be the Bitch. I hope f1fan or norm pop in and re--- explain. some of this for you.
good luck.

All you need to lower are springs and upper strut mount. But I DO Recommend adj. panhard bar because when you lower it, itwill kick your axle out and you need to re-center it. I also recommend shocks and struts. I got tokico hps off ebay for $285 shipped. Smoking deal for great shocks. I love them. I also recommend getting BMR fabrication springs. It gave me 2.25" and 2.75" drop. Perfect in my mind. My car is daily driver and I dont have any problems. The ride is alittle rough but thats the trade off. It also handles great. You also dont need camber bolts, at least I didnt. My car was barely off when they aligned it. Did the install myself also, if you want any pointers.

I had the FRPP FR500 racing springs put on mine and have no problems and it made the car much more agressive looking. Turns way more heads now.

We offer a lowering package which includes all the key components which allow you to retain proper geometry which is thrown off after lowering your vehicle. This package includes our cold wound high tensile strength chrome-silicon-vanadium springs, adjustable panhard rod (to re-center the rearend under the car - on-car adjustablity), control arm relocation brackets (Lowering the vehicle will change the control arm angle and "instant center" of the car. The geometry is corrected using relocation brackets), front camber bolts (lowering the car will create negative camber up front - these bolts provide up to 2 degrees of camber correction), and upper strut mounts. Ford manuals specify replacing this part anytime the strut/spring assembly is disassembled. Re-using your old mounts offen results in popping noises while turning.

Our springs lower 1.25" in the front and 1.5" in the rear.

Here is a pic of our package and a couple stangs lowered with our springs to give you an idea of what your ride will look like. Our sales/tech lines are open 8:30 - 6:00PM EST Mon-Fri if you have any further questions.

Thanks!
