Default Rear Sway Bar Installation.

I'm thinking about installing a Steeda rear sway bar. Ok, now for the stupid question...

Is their any technical reason to jack up the back of the car? I've never felt comfortable working on a car supported by jackstands and would rather avoid it entirely if I can.

nope, you could use ramps or if you can get under there without them just slide underneath. Nothing on the swaybar installation requires the tires up in the air.

Just a heads up although you can install the sway bar without taking off the wheels, it makes life much easier to have them removed. The wheels are pretty close to the nuts that hold the end caps on. So just be prepared.
