I vote 3.55's. As Kobie mentioned most any tire we'd run (and in fact the tires you Argonaut does run) are short than stock already essentially deepening the gear to start. There is no perfect answer, which is why real race cars will change gears for different tracks.

3.55's are a little better on mileage. Might allow you to carry say 3rd gear in some instance where the 5% shorter gearing of 3.73's might require an upshift.
