Nokian Hakka2 studded winter tire reviews
I wanted to share my experience with these tires with the rest of you folks...
I live in Alaska and as you know the winters up here are expected to be pretty bad.
My first official year driving the GT in the snow and was worried about slipping and sliding all over the place..even with $1350 snow tires lol.
Well just turns out that it was the best investment I could have made thus far!
Not only do they grip extraordinarily well but the also handle great on the ice and slushy conditions,of course I still have to worry about 'black ice' but that's a given lol.
So far so good and I won't press my luck too far because I still know for obvious reasons not to push any car beyond it's limits in the winter conditions.
Have yet to drive it in the deep deep dead of winter snow but I am pretty confident that it will be fine even without sand bags in the trunk or any added weight.
Kinda funny how so many people 'warned' me about driving the car during the winter because of it being RWD but come to learn that most that have done so have never even driven one during the winter themselves.
I actually feel more confident driving the RWD during the winter for some reason,it feels like it takes a little more concentration and skill then with any other car say FWD or even AWD.
More to come as the winter progresses...

Gee this must mean you have snow already!
Glad I live in the banana belt - I'm doing a track day tomorrow with an expected high of 17C (63F)!
I have actually ordered my winter rims and am planning to put Blizzak LM-25 255/45/18s on them.

I have order mine pretty soon. While I don't want to shell out the cash for new tires it does give me the excuse the get new rims and tires this summer since I'll be using my stock bullits for winter wheels.
