Default Wider Tires need adj. Panhard?

I just read that if you have lowered your car and want to get wider tires you need to get an adjustable panhard bar. Is this true, I have ford racing springs and I can't see this being a necessity to do? any advice?

It my be required if your axle is offset to oneside or the other. When you lower the car, it my shift to oneside. Mine did not. Best why to fine out is to messure how far your tire side wall is from the fender. Do this on both sides, if one side is wider, then you need to center the axle. A adjustable panhard bar is used to do this.

yes with the FRPP springs your rear will no longer be aligned and getting an adj panhard is not a bad idea

Not true. Just because you lower you car does not mean the axle will shift. Now is it a good idea to have one? That is up to the owner. Pinon angle would also be something to watch. Lowering less than 1 3/4 inches, should keep the angle in Ford specs, but I would check. Like I said, I put the Eibach pro-kit on my 07, and the axle never shifted at all. Same messurements from before i put them on.

if the car shifts vertically at all, the axle has to shift... it's the geometry of the suspension. the panhard moves in an arc and, therefore, the axle can't travel straight up or down.

exactly....FRPP springs are 1.5 inch drop, and my rear was almost an inch out after that drop

This is also something to consider
