Struts/shocks: non adjustable what to buy
#11
For your car probably close to a grand

The adjustable shocks and struts are REALLY REALLY easy to adjust. I can adjust all 4 of mine in less than 5 minutes. You just pop your hood and your trunk, unscrew the caps on the top of each of the 4 dampers and use the tool to twist the internal screw all the way hard and then just back off however many turns you want. Besides my intake/tune and gears, my d-specs are my favorite mod. They can be made very stiff for aggressive driving, or if you are going to travel a long way on the highway, I soften them up to even softer than stock. It takes longer to put air in your tires than it does to adjust the shocks/struts.

Bilstein's are the best non-adjustables... but then you're in a price range between D-specs and Koni's so why not have something you can tune? Koni's are better than D-specs, I've had both and others have too and can confirm the difference. You do get what you pay for .
And to the guy who thought Koni's are a grand... $749 is the price for S197's.

Then it is not worth changing struts/shocks if you are not going for adjustables?
even if the Eibachs are Bilsteins they're chaper they are still in the adjustable price range
