D-specs were one of my favorite mods! I also do not have the extensions and can change all 4 dampers in less than 5 minutes. You should buy the shocks/struts first without the extensions and then buy the extensions later if you decide you need them, which you probably wont. Its amazing how the feel of the car can change by just a simple damping change.

As for the remote adjusters. Save your money. It takes all of another 2 second to access the top of the shock (D-spec or Koni) directly.
I read another topic that was a D-Spec vs Koni that was started by you. You and F1 Fan went back and forth, and the info that I got from there was great. After reading that thread, I am leaning pretty hard toward the Koni shocks/struts, and after reading your post in this thread I will be getting the Konis. Either way, it seems that I will be quite happy!

Thanks for the info everyone!

We made a slight adjustment. Free shipping went away, but I adjusted the price down a touch to compensate.

I'm glad you found it helpful and picked up some information from the thread. I strongly feel that information, as well as practical experience comparing products are very helpful to others when they are trying to decide.
