You can call any tire shop. I would say 275-305 and whatever height you want. I myself like the low pros

IMO... I would go with a 255/45 18 ( 9") in front and 285-295/40/18 (10.0") in rear for a real nice beefy look. This will keep your overall tire height / diameter the same, and you won't lose any gearing

As far as tire sizes, Stoenr pretty much hit the nail on the head although I think you can go a bit wider in the back as 07 GT E UPP stated. Use the tire spec info on Tirerack to check since most manufacturers will specify what rim widths they recommend for any given tire.

For prices, the best bet is to decide on exactly what tire and in what sizes you want, THEN call around and get prices. Also check what the places want to mount and balance in the event you buy tires online. Although you can get some good deals online, you usually eat some of if not all the savings in shipping charges.

Since your Stang is an '06, you're lucky in that you don't need to worry about TPMS.

I just got some new wheels also (18x9 & 18x10). I went with 255/45/18 up front and 295/45/18 out back, both with Nitto NT555 tires. Here's my thread with pictures.

to the o.p. - those are some sweet rims, good deal too

Ohio State - 295s on the rear are sick. Once i get my rear rubber burned off I'll be upgrading to a 10" rim so I can get some meat back there. some idiot put 235s all around on my 8.5 inch rims

The tire you want depends on driving habits conditions and weather.
I am really impressed with the F1 Supercars. Its what came on the GT500.
Summer tire, with great dry and wet traction. Pricing right now on them is dirt cheap too. Just dont expect them to last 50,000 miles.
