Sounds feasible. My front end must be light because even the current steeda sports were slightly higher on my car f/r. I added steeda's rear coilover adjusters to get the oh-so-perfect rake I wanted.

I was able to finally get my suspension completely, 100% noise-free which is nice.

That was me that cut a coil off the front springs of my Steeda comps. I know that the front is now stiffer and will probably induce more understeer....but I'm going to be doing my first autox this weekend so if its that bad I've been contemplating going with KW coilover setup from Sam. Here's a before and after cutting the springs.

That before pic is just about how mine looked with the comps. Are those the dunlop star specs on your car in the pics? I think those are my next tires. What rim width are you running?

Yeah, those are the Dunlops. 18x9 wheels with 275/35 tires.

So, what's your impression on that trick? Everything works fine? Did you try it out on the track by any chance?

Impression so far is that it did what I want. Lowered the front and gave me the visual stance that I wanted. I realized that by cutting the spring down, I was essentially increasing the spring rate, by how much I don't know. It still handles fine on the street. Taking it to an autocross this weekend. Will give an update on how it handles. My prediction is that it will push more than a mustang already would, but we'll see. Might be able to band-aid fix it by increasing camber and/or installing Sam's adjustable swaybar kit.

Are you saying you find the H&R Race springs are stiffer than the Steeda Competition springs?

I want some stiff springs, but I do not want my nose up in the air like a rocket.
I have an 06 GT, with no superchargers.
Anyone know if you can add rubber bushing to the rear strut mounts to seat it .5 inches higher to level out the Steeda Competition springs?

Then you don't want Comps. They aren't stiff at all (225/185). In fact as I mentioned in another thread, Ultralites are stiffer and won't have the nose high look either. Comparing Comps and H&R Race isn't at all a valid comparison. I get it, it's based on the what you'd expect based on the name, but that's the trouble with the internet and some information gathered, it's easy to assume things based on words and words can be misleading.
