Question

Sam, I have the FRPP Handling Pack and it’s too stiff for me as a DD. I don't Auto-X or anything just looking for a more comfortable ride without losing the lowered look.

Are these shocks compatible with my springs??

If I changed the shocks out for these would it give me a more comfortable ride??

Thank you for your advice.

Perfect! So these are designed for us Stang owners who are looking to replace stock shocks after lowering, but do not a need a performance/sport replacement?

I've just lowered my car with the Eibach Prokit and looking to replace my stock shocks while not hurting wallet. I do not Auto-X or drag, this is recreational non-daily driver.

The FRPP dampers are like rocks. A car on Koni Sports turn up from soft rides way better than the FR3 dampers do. These STR.T's are valved like Sports set full soft. Yes, it will ride better because they are valved better.

Don't misunderstand your needs. You do need a performance replacement because you lowered the car (less working travel for the dampers to work in) and raised the spring rate too (more work for the damper to do in the smaller amount of travel). It just so happens that what these that's what you get. A more budget friendly performance damper. Still not the cheapest shocks you could run, because you can't give away quality build, R&D time and a kick-*** warranty for free.
