its more for appearance, i heard it improves handling a little bit.

i've got the FRPP bar and not sure how much improvement it made, but it sure looks good for $120 bucks. granted i do have springs/shocks/sway bars. so it probably work in conjunction. just my two cents.

If you have a handling pack, or lowered...

and if your pushing the car through turns, thats litterally breaking the wheels off the pavement and driving through a high speed turn, then its mainly for looks. It does help with the body twisting if your pushing hard corners on a track.

But they look great!

It adds 750.1 mph in the slalom why do you think Ford uses it on all their performance Mustangs? A strut tower brace is definitely not a gimmicky at all. In fact I've got 4 of them installed on my rear spoiler for added stabilitronics, aeropnumatics and anti-dollar-wallet-weight-reduction. I've seen an inconclusive .1 second increase in everything.

I bought mine brand new for $30 off Craigslist. Chrome, Granatelli. Mine was worth it, but otherwise I dont think so.
