Default 14" rotors not coming off car

I cannot get the front passenger 14" rotor to come off my car. There is a noticeable amount of rust between the hub and the inside mounting surface of the rotor which I believe is keeping it from moving. What should I do to get the rotor off?

Yeah, that's very common. It'll take a few good whacks with a mallet. Don't be surprised if you really have to give it hell.

Whack it but leave a lug nut or two on there loose to prevent it from flying into another precious object like your paint or exposed toes...

Penetrating oil works over time.
A coat of light grease upon reassembly prevents rusting together next time...

If you don't know, the factory installed 05' Saleen brakes are Ford GT/Brembo rotors and calipers.

As stated above, it is going to take some beating on them. It maybe helpful to take a wire brush and wd40, etc. to the hub/rotor.

I had a GTO in here awhile ago........took about 15 minutes to get one rotor off

Rubber mallet- exactly. In recent years, Ford started using anti-seize between the rotor and hub just for this reason.

Just got done with my brakes a few weeks ago, and went through it on my rear rotors. Spray the hub/rotor with some PB blaster. Let it set for 10 min or so. Take your dead blow/rubber mallet and give it all its got. +1 on the never sieze when you put everything back together.
