Default Frpp springs question

Are the springs the same for the gt coupe and the gt convert? Also, will I need shocks and struts or are the frpp springs ok by themselves?

With the change in ride quality I just experienced by switching out my stock shocks (at stock ride height) I don't think I'd waste my time taking the front apart without replacing the struts, especially if you're putting shorter springs in there.

Do you have the FRPP K or C springs?

I have the K springs. I don't think there is a difference between verts and coupes, but I could be wrong. Someone I am sure will enlighten you.

Anyway, the K springs drop you 1.5 inches all around. You should be fine with the stock struts and shocks........mine are still stock and haven't had a problem. I would recommend getting GT500 strut mounts though, and definitely an adjustable panhard bar. If you go lower than 1.5 inches you WILL need CC plates.

Hope this helps.
