Default UMI or Spohn LCA/UCA/brackets - which to buy?

I have a new power adder and will certainly need traction. Beyond drag radials - I am looking at suspension components. The car is a show/drag car... not a daily driver or course vehicle. It is NOT lowered and when I drag I replace the 20"s with the stock 17"s.

Two choices I am considering are below... Which is better for launches and occasional driving? Downsides?

UMI setup would be:

Part 1036 - Single Adjustable Lower Control Arms with grease-able Energy Suspension fluted polyurethane bushings on one end and a heavy duty Teflon lined QA1 spherical rod end.

Part 1060 - Rear Control Arm Relocation Brackets- Bolt In

Part 1047 - Adjustable Upper Control Arm with a QA1 Chrome Moly spherical rod end with TeflonŽ/KevlarŽ self lubricating race.

Part 1058 - Upper Control Arm Mount Stepped Spacers

Spohn setup would be:

Part M5-605R - Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm with Del-Sphere Pivot Joint

Part M5-207-4130R - Rear Lower Control Arms - Tubular Adjustable with Poly/Del-Sphere Pivot Joint Combo in Chrome Moly.

No relocation brackets... or maybe the CHE or BMR or UMI ones.

No UCA mount replacement.

I work with, recommend, and use UMI parts on a daily basis. They have more options, and soon will have control arms using their roto-joints which I feel are a little better than the Spohn version since UMI uses a one-piece center section... But functionally the are basically the same.

I carry the full line of UMI parts, and as soon as the control arms for the Mustang are out with the Roto-joints I'll have them added to my site too.

If one was impatient - it looks like one could buy the #1036 Single Adjustable Lower Control Arms with greaseable Energy Suspension fluted polyurethane bushings on one end and a heavy duty Teflon lined QA1 spherical rod end AND ALSO get the #0011L and #0011R Roto-Joint Ends to make a set.

Would that work out pretty much the same functionally?

I agree that I like fewer moving parts.

Actually that won't work... that's my mistake, those ends are for the LCA's of an F-body, the Ford ones are different (I'll get those taken down ASAP.... nice catch!).

The hold up is the Ford specific Roto-joint, the bolts are different sized on the LCA's between the two cars, where as on the PHB they are the same size. That's why the Roto-joint PHB's are actually available, but the LCA's are not--yet.

I will keep an eye out for when they come out. If you have a list going for people to contact when they're available - put me on it.

I'd be interested in these as well if they are going to be available soon.
