Default how low can you go

i was wondering what the LOWEST on my 08 stang would be that i could go, i want to goooo LOOOOW, i have suspension parts right now but people are sayin to ditch my BMR because they are all show and no go, so i am doin it right, tell me how low and what springs, thanks

You'll quickly find that you're calling for contradictory things. You want to be "LOOOOW" and that won't really "go." You seem tempted to ditch the BMR because they are "all show" but you want to be the "LOWEST" you can be (as opposed to addressing some particular ride or handling concern). The kind of low you are looking for sounds like you are into all show and not real performance.

This section of the forum is more densely populated by a bunch of folks who are road racers, autocrossers, and open track enthusiasts. So the advice you're going to get here will be slanted in that direction; that is, towards genuine performance. You might not like what we have to say.

You're probably looking at a 1-1/2" drop as your max before you start adversely impacting your suspension geometry and riding on the bumpstops. You can go much lower and preserve great handling...for lots of money and custom fabrication. Those are the breaks with the S197 Mustang.

As far as what spring to go with, there are a number of threads going on dedicated to this topic. Read up.

thanks for the info =) that makes sense i am getting eibach sportlines with new struts and shocks along with my camber bolts adj. panhard and strut tower brace, so that is as low as i can go without needing additional things ( i read up on the info already on here =) ) thank you
