Default X5 balljoints with stock springs = issues?

I'm thinking of swapping my stock springs back on the car for a long road trip and really don't care to swap my original front control arms/stock balljoints back on. I can swap the springs out in about an hour. My last road trip through Louisiana over their roads was misery lowered.

I don't think it will be an issue but what do you guys think?

The toe will be off so you'll need an alignment. Other than that, it would probably be fine.
