2010 Shelby GT500 Suspension Upgrade

I just ourchased a 2010 Shelby GT500 I want to install a set of Ford Racing Lowering springs 1.25 inch The dealer said this would void the warranty Im trying to find out if this is true

Maybe on your shocks/struts but nothing else. There is a supreme court case about this.

The dealer said I would need to do the complete upgrade supplied by ford racing at a cost of $2600. If I have any work done on the car will it have to be done by a SVT certified mech. to keep the warranty?

I had a dealer tell me the same thing and the dealer that my work told me something different. The dealer that did the work said as long as my work was done by Ford and I used Ford parts it would not void any warranties..
