Default Anyone use Russell Performance Brake Lines?

I can get the Russell stainless braided lines for a pretty good prices, but I was wondering if anyone else has experience with them. They look kind of generic, so I assume they would need to be zip tied to the suspension to keep them from hanging down. Anyone have good or bad feedback on these?

Go with a a front and rear set from Goodrich. Super hi quality and DOT approved with an incredible warranty. You get what you pay for. We have the Goodrich 4 piece set on sale for $216 with FREE shipping.

Yeah, I am running your sway bars and am very pleased with them, but I can get the Russell Brake lines for $100 and AN hoses are AN hoses. The only other brand I would consider is the J&M ones because they have the mounting brackets so you wouldn't need to use zip ties or whatever.

Sorry to say but AN hoses are not AN hoses. The design in the hose ends and the way they install plus either the compression style fittings or swedge fittings are all options that can raise price. Plus coated lines or bare lines, and wether or not they have been DOT approved through pressure testing are all factors.

You can get front and rear brake lines for $100??? Something says that doesn't sound real good. And if something is too good to be true, it usually is. And when it comes to brakes and my safety, I personally will pay the difference. Just my 2 cents.....

As for our sways, I am glad to hear you like them! It's funny when we start posting up here and people still do not know who we are. but I am trying to change all that now

Sam is right on the money with this one man.

Don't walk, but RUN away from those lines. Had a set fail on me not 90 days after I got them on another vehicle I had, Russell replaced them under warrenty/good customer service.. and those failed within 6 months.. And this was a daily driver, no racing, nothign even resembling harsh driving.

Thanks for the heads up Bob! J&M makes lines that are pressure tested to 3000 psi and have all the stock mounting brackets, so I think I will go with those and some ATE superblue fluid.
