Default Saleen -vs Steeda Spring Swap? Should I do it?

OK here is my problem. I currently have the full Saleen suspension package on my '06 GT. I got a great deal on a set of brand new Steeda Ultra Lights and GT500 upper strut mounts.

So my question is, is it worth the time and effort to take the Saleen springs off and put the Steeda on? If I knew for sure that the Steeda would be lower in the rear than my current set up I'd do it in a heart beat.

Let me know what you think.......Thanks!

Maybe about 1/4" lower in the rear and about the same up front (1.3/1.5 Ultralights vs 1.3/1.3 Saleen from the spring comparison chart posted in this forum a while back). I don't know how the spring rates compare.

I'm thinking about doing the same swap... I didn't get nearly the drop with the Saleens that I'd expected. It lowered the rear about an inch but the front only lowered about 3/4 inch.

Do you guys think the Saleen shocks/struts will work OK with the Steeda Ultralights?

They probably don't advertise spring rates so people won't get hung up on having the biggest numbers - mostly for bragging purposes . . . and end up being unhappy with the ride (and go on to bad-mouth the springs for their own less than wise purchase decision). Lots more people DON'T understand front to rear spring balance than do.

No problem (I now have that spring info in a spreadsheet).
