Default FRPP GT Handling Kit any good for autox?

Anybody have this kit on their 05-10 GT, particularly if you autocross your car. It kind of sucks having ~320hp/335tq and not being able to use it. And it REALLY sucks that mildy modified Honda commuter cars can run the same course only 1-2 second slower than my car (08 GT, manual, 3.31 gears).

It will help. Just realize that most autocross courses will favor a lighter more agile car than the Mustang anyway. I had the FRPP kit on my '06. Certainly improved the all-round handling, though there are better, more hard core set-ups available. Wider, stickier tires will help even more.

If you are planing to compete make sure you consult the rule book to ensure that the suspension mods you make are allowed in the class you want to run in. Search this and other forums. Lots of info out there.

Pump your tires up a bit and don't over-drive the car/course. As jayel579 said, seat time is everything.

Have fun.
Cheers.
