Rattle/clunking from Che adj. LCA's
Getting some major rattles from them, both sides seem to start acting up around the same time too. Its coming from where they bolt to the body, not the axle. Made sure all was tight, lubed everything I could.
It does not seem to do it when you start out driving for the 1st time of the day, but after a few miles, boy is is loud. More noticeable at low speeds. Load does not matter. Even on near smooth roads. I can even hear a little noise it just when getting out of the car.
Anyone else? Time for some new LCA's that only have a few years on them?

Are they torqued to spec? Don't forget, all the bolts are "supposed" to be one time use and replaced if changed. I know lots of guys, including myself ignore this little fact. Might not be the cause of your rattle but it sounds like something is loose if just getting out of the car is causing it. Which reminds me, I need to tighten a few bolts tomorrow...

Yeah, Poly/Rod.
They were torqued to spec when installed. I made sure everything was tight on them when investigating the noise. Just seems odd 20k miles later they start making noise.

Rod-ends do wear out. I find that my adj LCA's with poly/delspere ends make a bit of noise over really rough stuff when they're not adjusted perfectly (in length) side to side. Even 1/4'' off can make them noisy. Not sure why that is. I have them set to exactly 19'' (a little extra to accomodate the lower positioning in the relocation brackets) and they are completely quiet. Most rod-end type LCA's allow replacement of the ends if they wear out. Maybe contact the manufacturer and inquire about replacing them. The rod-end tolerances increase as they age.

I did spray them up with no luck. The noise is coming from the poly end and not the rod end.
I had it up on a lift with me and my pops investigating.
I am wondering if the bolt that I reused maybe has stretched over time and causing the ruckus against the sleeve.

Or you coulda worn the poly bushing out. Either way it would probably b a good idea to change the bolts.
