Exclamation would you go to the track with this crack?

Hey,

I need your quick opinion on that. I've been preparing the car for a week for tomorrow's flat out day at Beaverun and I just found the crack in the rim. It didn't get to the bolt hole yet, but I'm not sure what to do, go for it or stay at home.

No way, no way, no way. Seriously, it isn't just you at risk, it's the other cars/drivers you may take out when that rim breaks into pieces.

Ok folks, 6 to 0 is pretty convincing, I don't go.

I wonder only how many runs (or days) I did with the broken rim.

Does someone have a spare 6R3J-1007-AA around Pittsburgh ??

Ditto.

I wouldn't go on track with a wheel that had any visible crack, even a little one, but yours is actually quite large (IMO). Not worth the risk.

If I were near you I'd loan you the wheel. Ask around, I bet you can find someone willing to help out. Good luck!

Best,
-j
