Anyone gone with this kit from CDC?
Just wondering if anyone on here has gone with this kit from CDC: http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...t_detail&p=152
I emailed them for some info and they said that these were from the Foose Stallion program. The springs that come with it are as well and offer a 1" drop. The part #'s are not the same as the frpp handling pack, so I emailed to ask why, and that's when they told me they were the parts from the Foose program. Has anyone bought these?

Yes very nice kit too. Ride is maybe a tiny bit stiffer than it was stock. The car is lower and just the right amount for me. I have had my street scrappers not interested in that again. The rear bar makes the car hold the line better reduces understeer. Next year with my winter time power increase I may need front bar but without a lot of power it handles great.

Just the large 20" tires.
I did buy upper gt500 strut mounts so that I could assemble the strut and not have to disassemble the old strut to install the new one. I also made some rear sway bar hangers, again so I didn't have to take the old ones off. I did do some other things on the suspension but they weren't directly related to the CDC kit. I put J&M trailing arms top and bottom and their panhard rod. I put a panhard rod brace on as well. None of that is directly needed just since I was under there I thought I wanted it in the future I'd do it all at once. It might be argued that the panhard rod is a good idea because as the car got lower the already offset rear end got worse and the adjustable panhard rod allowed me to center the tires in the fenders.

Thanks for the info. I'm trying to decide whether to go with this kit, or the extreme lowering springs from Roush. IT says they recommend using your stock shock/struts. I plan on the new strut mounts and panhard bar either way.

We put the kit on my sons V6. One problem was there is no hardware to attacth the rear sway bar. The car rides nicer then it did. I put the ford racing pack on my 07 gt and love it, my son also perfers the way mine rides and handles compared to his. the kit was 350 but shipping was another 125 bucks. Im glad I spent the extra money and got the whole ford racing package.

On the CDC website overview for that handling package on the bottom it says the rear bar will not work with convertibles. Does anyone know why? Is the rear sway bar on the GT convertibles already a little bigger due to the extra weight? I can't think of any other reasons it wouldn't work
Did more searching, found a post that referenced Sam's webiste and it stated due to the extra bracing on convertibles, some rear sway bars don't fit.
