Default Roush Suspension Help Needed

Hi Guys,

I posted this on a Roush Specific forum, but didn't get much info yet. This board seems to have a lot more traffic, so perhaps somebody here can answer this question for me.

I am looking to put the M90 on my 2010 Mustang and also Roush Suspension, but I am confused as to which suspension is correct.

I have been looking at Roush Part Number 401296 which says it is the same as the 427R suspension.

However Roush says that the Roush Part Number 401761 is for cars witht he supercharger installed because it was tuned for the weight of the blower.

I am confused because the 427R does have the supercharger installed......

Can you guys help me out here? Which is the correct suspension. I will do the suspension now and then put the M90 on in a few months from now.

Thanks!

I think the page indicating that the Stage2 and the 427R use the same suspension is a typo.

If you look at the page describing the 427R model, it says that the package is based on the Stage 3 package.

I'd say go with Stage 3. I have it and have NO regrets.

Do you have actual suspension goals for the car or do you just want to brag about having Roush parts in your car?

I like the Roush setup. Doesnt lower the car too far, just enough for me. It is nice on the street and does what I need and want.

I ran some roush rear springs for awhile and then put the steeda competition rears back in. The steeda rears, while having a higher spring rate actually ride MUCH smoother than the roush rears. I'd go with vogtland/steeda ultralight or steeda sports over the roush springs personally.
