So just the front bar mounts are prone to failure?

Well, these are things you can tell the next unassuming guy looking at that kit...

It is only the front mounts that have that failure problem, the rears are ok. Though, it's not uncommon for the little bolts that hold the wedge on the rear mounts to work themselves loose.
